The Plaza Hotel Carowinds professional staff will be happy to
assist you in making meeting and/banquet arrangements. There is more than 3,800 square feet of flexible space that is ideal for hosting mid-size conferences to small corporate gatherings as well as those memorable occasions...weddings, anniversaries, family reunions and more.  Group planners are welcome to utilize the services of their preferred, outside caterer.

Grand Ballroom
2,016 square feet of flexible meeting space.  The Grand Ballroom can be divided into two sections and can accommodate the following seating arrangements.

 

              Theater Style:     200

              Banquet Style:    150

              Classroom Style: 125

 

Catawba Room
1,008 square feet.  Seating capacity is:

              Theater Style:     100

              Banquet Style:     60

              Classroom Style: 60

Pre Function Space

Approximately 400 square feet.  Ideal for registration, exhibits and/or reception functions.

 

Conference Board Room
240 square feet.  Seating for ten people with additional seating of six people around the perimeter of the room.

Audio/Visual Equipment
Available for a fee.  All function space accommodations include complimentary pads, pens, water and glasses.
